It’s been a while since we’ve updated our blog and a lot of changes have happened. During the summer, the honey project expanded to include three other cooperatives in the state. This is really exciting because the project has the impact to benefit more people. An impetus for this decision was the design itself – or how design can motivate and shape people’s vision. Now we’re working on trademarking the name under which they’ll bring their product to market. We’ve added Maria Fernanda Matus, a Yucatecan communications and marketing consultant, to our group of consultant-friends so she’s helping all of us with marketing. We hope to launch the product in December, with printed labels and a complete website.
